Christine Pellegrino is a mother of two daughters, a longtime educator, and a community organizer who shocked the nation in 2017 when she flipped a historically Republican Assembly district by 40 points.
During her time in the Assembly (2017-2019), she delivered record funding for schools, libraries, the environment, veterans facilities, and opioid addiction treatment. She led the fight against offshore drilling and chaired the Legislative Commission on Toxic Substances.
Today, Christine serves as Vice President of Long Island Pride PTSA, advocating for LGBTQ+ kids to have the freedom to be themselves and learn in safe, supportive schools. She continues to fight for workers' rights, voter registration, election reform, and to ensure Long Island families get their fair share from Albany.
Now she's running for District 12 because families here deserve a representative who fights for them, not special interests.
